Competitions
This is what we're all here for: an opportunity to show off our skills and our love for dance with the world. While competing is not required, it is definitely an invaluable experience that will elevate your dance to the next level. We'll help you prepare weeks in advance so that you shine on the floor!
Rock 'n Roll Tide Ballroom Competition
When hosting our competition, we follow USA Dance rules.
The University of Alabama hosts a competition in the spring semester, and we invite all teams from across the Southeast to compete.
For our competition, we limit dancers to competing in two consecutive levels in each style. (Note: The newcomer/pre-bronze division is for competitors who have been competing for less than two semesters.) Costumes are welcome at all levels!
